Woke up quite late cause slept late yesterday...

Nonetheless,went to the tree,and begun unwrapping of the presents;Derren got there earlier than me cause he slept earlier I guess.

I got many things,books,clothes,wadever.

Derren also got a present from his tuition teacher Miss Mag (she gave him a Ben 10 watch and a pack of Ben 10 poker cards from SIA,cool huh?)

Yea,and the day passed smoothly.

A new year is nearing and sooner or later it'll be 2009!

Dear Diary,

Had Christmas (eve) party today! Went to auntie Shermain's house (big terrace house wif dog <3)

Left my house at 5.30pm there about,got a ride on Auntie Sorlay's car. How thoughtful!

Reached early,so did not see many faces yet. Saw Auntie Jenny and her kids. So we were 2nd! Yay!

Lingered around till the rest arrived,then had dinner wif the rest of the children. There was bountiful to eat and it was practically everything in front of my eyes. We've got ham,turkey,ribs (the best ones),salad,corn,yam,bread,etc. (you get the idea right?) Ate till was full and hobbled back from the garage into the living room. Sat there for awhile to rest,and then headed to the dining area where there are fish tanks and a table-soccer in the middle.Played it wif the others,a little lag,so the ball juz "rushed" pass me although I was suppose to block it (being the goal keeper) It made my team lose (so malu :S ) Decided to stop playing,and head upstairs to see wad's was all the commotion.After we warmed up,played around,and went to the room,to see them play some weird Facebook game called pets society or wad or sth,which was found to be retarded by the older boys.Anyways,the girls didn't matter much though,so I sat there browsing through magazines & watched ppl stride pass me,literally stride cause they just seem to glide across aimlessly,then Ken showed us (Elizabeth,me & Derren ) a "so-called" maze on Shermain's com (super big screen,mayb can be my tv) He asked Elizabeth to concentrate on the maze and when it came to the part where you are suppose to move your cursor over a very small amount of space,a scary image and a screeching voice will be projected on the screen.We weren't flattered and stared at Ken and saying, "tt's all?"

Played some soldier game (3d O.O) which was ironically speaking lame,cause I played b4 SOME shooting games (only),knowing me,an angel (*Halo on my head*) didn't find the games entertaining for long.Got bored and was about to quit the game when Ken came to "bring" us downstairs,he practically did so by carrying Derren on his back down the stairs. Went down and joined in the Christmas carols. Played many games that we nerve-wrecking too. It involved a lot of memorizing & required concentration (so much for the scary maze -.-) There was this game where Uncle Tian Huat will show us a list of pictures of daily items. We were then told to remember as much as possible and to write it down. It was the Adults VS the Kids next door! We won this time.Of course la,with me mah :D

Another game we played was another memory game now was the positioning of the disciples and Jesus,Mary & Joseph,along wif the donkeys,lambs,moon & stars. Tried to remember as much as possible but somehow,it was juz too hard to remb all. So it was a tie for both teams. The last game we played was the "Who's behind the curtain?" game.

We were told to sit behind the curtain,both teams facing each other such that we are only able to see the other team by the piece of opaque curtain sheet. So when the curtains are down we're suppose to name the opponent team member by calling out their name,the faster team wins 1 point each round. We went through many rounds and I saved the best for the last: One was Auntie Cynthia & Uncle Jason (Husband & wife),when the curtains fall,so tyco the see each other then stare blankly at each other and we started laughing.Another one was Dominic,once the curtain fall,Auntie Sorlay was on the other side.But both sides went blank too.So,to add a little spice to this game,Dom apparently scared Auntie Sorlay when the curtains were released. Had a really comical game.

After the games,were the gift exchanges! Yay! I got $50 :D There were many surprise gifts coming in all sorts of shapes. To spice up the night,uncle Gerald saw many of the gifts and then said something tt made us all laugh,"Aiya this one ah (look at a flat present),this one is assessment book la,this one dictionary!" It made all the children laugh cause obviously they do not want their gifts to turn in a nightmare. Exceptional to the nerds (AHEM)

Headed down to the dining hall the eat the log cake,chocolate fundo (however you spell it) and some fruits. We talked at the table and laughed quite a lot too. Talked and time flied;the clock struck 12am! Christmas! Because of this we went around shaking everyone's hand and wishing them Merry Christmas. Shortly afterwards,left their house and waited at the entrance for Uncle Tian Huat to drive his card to fetch us (which is at the far end of the terrance) Something unexpected occured:apparently Uncle Tok Hao's car's window had smashed and broke into a million pieces (i guess),it hit a tree nearby while reversing. For all you know,it's at the back of the car;and we can't leave him driving wif the exposed glass at the back right? If the shards of glass were to hit the car behind,hou guo jiu bu kan she xiang. So they sealed the window up wif the black garbage bag (the ones we used to use & those we use when the Total Defense ppl ask you to cover your windows wif in case of emergency? Ya those) And we left,wonder wad's the situation now though. Reached home and lay my presents below the tree b4 heading straight to bed (I DID brush teeth OK!) And slept,dog-tired!
