Dear Diary,
HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY IVY :D
Blessed year ahead xD
Anyway, can't post often anymore, I'll be someone you gaze upon from a distance in due time. Time and tide waits for no man -.-
Recently, I have the urge to become a Lawyer; I also dunno wad I wanna be. My mom says I moodswing- from Doctor to Air Steward, Pianist to Actor and now Lawyer. I can't make up my mind! Anyhow, I found out I'm good at owning ppl! Which makes a good lawyer, considering the heated debate you will have wif the opposing 'team'. I'm in for a debate, want one?
It's Shao Lin Showdown!

Dear Diary,

Did you see the video? Omg, the girl is sooo cute!

Next time must have a daughter like tt! Haha. AIA sure knows the tricks to advertising: a xiao mei mei wif calming background music. FYI, my mom works in AIA ^^

Anyway, today was the day my 3 juniors did flag raising wif our guidance. For the previous days they were juz onlookers. Prisheela & Yier were okeh! They did it flawlessly, although I could see some loopholes (PRETEND YOU DIDN'T SEE THIS!) ^^

Jordan's flag didn't go all the way up the pole and so Iky had to rectify the matter. Then... the SINGAPORE FLAG decends rapidly as he loosened the string. HA, epic. The best thing was : David Goh was juz beside him.

Luckily Ms Low & Mr Principal wasn't there to witness it. If not, Iky can sing ~'Time to... say Goodbye!'~ already.

Btw, I screwed my Maths common test: forgot the 'Box-and-whiskers' thingy completely.

^^
I have no idea why I'm happy also

Dear Diary,
I think I juz got humiliated by my juniors -.-
You know wad they did? I was talking to them, reminding them about 27th Jan's Council meeting. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Nicole Manto pinched my cheek and commented, "so cute!" and Nicole Koh did the same thing. Dun ask me, I also doing wad had gotten into them. Aghast was I tt I only managed to utter a 'okk....' and seriously dunno how to react. Wad will you do if it were you? Embrace them, or lecture them about the consequences of outrage of modesty?
Are girls these days alright? Cause I'm freaking out lately.
Anyway, on my way to school. I saw this fa... plump *ahem* girl walking to school; she was wearing epic socks. So much so tt it was longer than mine, serious! Worst of all, she was wearing a skirt. I laughed to myself and almost tripped on the curb. But I dun believe in retributions.
Mdm Aisha was talking to us about wad 'Adam Khoo Motivational Workshop'. Weiping said ppl who attended the workshops got enlightened and got all straight As for 'O' Levels. Do you believe? Anyway, I can't post anything negative down here although I'm well known for criticism. And it costed a freaking $400++ if I'm not wrong. Crazy, if liddat ah, I next time also go and make one.
Basically, I told my mom as she was signing the consent form (she said nvm la, juz pay! Ya la, like we very rich liddat), 'you know why these workshop still manage to survive? It's because of you gullible ppl who juz willingly sign. Tt's why these workshops prevail.'
In the outside world, the only thing you can do is believe in yourself and nothing else. No amount of workshop is able to give you ample motivation to do well; it all starts from within.
Amen LOL

Dear Diary,
I'm sure you have heard of the recent Haiti Earthquake Occurrence. I'm quite slow to post but nonetheless, I feel for them. Their humble abodes have been destroyed and being a country wif barely enough money to survive, it is most devastating to hear of it. FYI, if you dunno where Haiti is, it's an island on it's own off the coast of South America, on top of Brazil. Aids have been sent and ppl are doing all they can, we'll pray for this nation tt the government will be able to recover from this catastrophe and get back on their feet, and provide the country to daily necessities so tt the ppl may be able to live normal lives, although deep down, they've been scarred emotionally, losing relatives and close friends, and memories of their daily lives. They would never be the same again. Lightning never strikes at one spot twice, I hope this really is true.
Many relief efforts and organisations have stepped out to offer monetary assistance already. Bratt & Jolie have donated US$2 mil, and Roger Federal held tennis matches to raise funds. Everyone is playing their part, and we should too. They are ppl too, and when ppl need help, we need to render to them wadevever we can. Dun live in your small bubble. Dun know how to help? Search the web, tt's the impact of Globalisation now. So use it. If you can't help money-wise, there's always prayer.
Everyday has its challenges, the day where you find there's no challenges, is the day you die.

Dear Diary,
Today damn epic!
Chem Lab; I was supposed to do the Titration thingy, then when adding the Potassium Maganate (VII), Mrs Yap told me to swirl as I add drop by drop into the beaker of Fe 2+. Then I forgot then she shouted (not in a fierce tone ^^), 'Nicholas ah, ask you to swirl you swirl then when I look away you stop.' followed by a ' Class, we have an Oscar Award Winner here, very good at acting. He senses danger when it's around him.' And for the rest of the experiment, she was watching over me. o.o
Ms Teo said my neutralisation concentration was juz right and my colour of faint pink was perfect! (Of course, who am I man), three times in a row some more. And my actual neutralisation volume (25.2cm^3) was exactly the SAME as the teacher's ideal answer! Wooo~~
Anyway, there was a camera who came in to film us doing the experiment. Apparently, they were making a new School Song video, so they needed clips of experiments to act act la. Then teacher asked for volunteers to act, budden all sabo me. In the end, I kena filmed lor. At first acting only, anyhow take the chemicals and pour here pour there, diffuse then filter. Tt was good cause it gave me the privilege to play wif anything, without being scolded. Or so I thought, until Mrs Yap came then I gave her the excuse then she also nth to say, haha. (:
And so in the end Ms Teo 'showed' me how to do the experiment (although I was one of the first few who finished the experiment b4 hand) and acted in front of the camera!
So... I gonna be famous! Yaye me!
Being sabo-ed has its benefits too! Not counting the ramifications, if Mr Principal doesn't like it.

Dear Diary,
Recently all my schedules have been packed until like 6 pack liddat! Sooo busy, best thing is all on the day clash. Today got Red Cross, Library bonding session, Council photo-taking and Exco-meeting. Siao eh, I'm not octopus or an accountant.
Council Photo-taking: Of course I was punctual. Being a gentleman, I helped out of the juniors and fellow councillors first la! Like one butler liddat. There wasn't a size for Nala so I suggested to use two XL Blazers, one on one side and it worked. Surprisingly, Ms Low concurred to my idea.
Ex-co meeting: We are to revise the departments namely: School & Student Affairs, Student Welfare, Discipline & Communications. And omg, we're gonna have a Student Leaders' Camp in March (Hols) finally.
The rest of the 6 pack events like Red Cross is self-explanatory already. Dun need to further elaborate.
PS: I know how to play Poker Face on the piano! Omg, it's in B Major!
Prisheela & Yi Er wanted me to play Unfaithful & learn Untouched and Paparazzi. Am I up to their challenge? You bet!

Dear Diary,
School is boring! Everyday same lessons, repetitions of faces. The only thing tt changes is the topics, and they change real fast! Which is a bad thing.
I couldn't be bothered to post anything else about school since it's always the same.
During History, Ms Ng gave us work but we ended up talking. And the topic rounded up to: Men & Women. Ms Ng said tt Men were the cause of Wars and all other devastating events. And it was a Men VS Women's showdown. I can post a whole giant post of the advantages of both sexes but I think I'll pass, no use too. But Men ended the War too, so there're also being responsible, women juz cook and give birth. Stereotype much, but majority do tt.
Anyway, during TC Period Mdm Aisha told us something playing a Class Game - Angels & Mortals. Everyone's name is written on bits of papers and thrown into some box or something, then everyone picks one. And the person whom you picked will be your Mortal and you will be their Angel. Angels are supposed to take care and watch over the Mortals, give gifts and socialise and get to know them. Having said tt, it's akin to stalking. It's like you're their secret admirer or sth, sounds so wrong. Anyway, I picked Mrs John LOL. So coincident, anyway, I also dunno wad to give her. An A1 for A Maths? Heh, tt's gonna be hard.
For now I'll stick to helping her give out worksheets, greeting her and playing by the rule book. Too bad Yew Fu didn't get Li Pei, if not, it'll be epic. Heh, did I mention? Gloria got ______, which is quite sad. Good luck though.
Anyway, it's only for a week b4 we change Mortals. Hold on, and hold tight!

Dear Diary,
Somehow I've recently been into a relapse wif Korean Drama. And the nostalgic past of diff dance genre have came back to hit me. I'm starting to like European dances again!
:D
Tango, Waltz, Ballade, Tarantella, Tap Dancing are all stuck in my head! They're simply self-indulging.
For now, I'll juz let the video do the talking, savour every second whilst it is being played!
PS: First time uploading a video (it's a miracle) without anyone helping me! :D
Thanks Google Help!

Dear Diary,
At least I know there's still hope for Singaporeans. Juz saw a considerate woman patiently waiting for her nuggets at McDonalds. Despite the long wait, she didn't complain and even said 'No problem!' when the staff told her she had to wait a lil' longer.

Do these acts of courtesy & kindness require constant prompting? I dun see the need for these 'hints' in Japan & Britain, not forgetting France. Are we really a city of low lives who live in a place where manners haven't been invented? Or are we juz ignorant & oblivious to the surrounding circumstances?

I hate to question. But if Japanese can do it, so can Singaporeans. Who are we, to be distinguished as the green city wif the worst ppl (it's contradicting I know) It may be tt few black sheeps tt destroy our reputation. But nonetheless, we, as a nation, should live up to our morals. NO more singlish (although I use them occasionally), NO more short forms OR fancy languages (euu, lurb, qoinq, etc.) They disgrace & distort the English language and isn't amusing, neither is it anything 'Uniquely Singapore(an)'. There's nothing to be proud of and face it, we're juz humiliating ourselves.

Are we going to have our heads held high declaring tt 'Yes! We are proud to be a Singaporean using Singlish!' or are we going to go by the book?

It's up to you fellow citizens (or netizens), are you game?

Dear Diary,
Juz went for both Nayang (NYP) & Ngee Ann (NP, you know why they dun wanna call themselves NAP) Poly's Open Houses. The Tertiary industry is a big jump from secondary school life. Let me ask you a question: IF you were to be in a poly and studying Tourism & Resort Management. WHY IN THE WORLD DO YOU EVEN STUDY MATHS OR EVEN WORSE, SCIENCE IN SEC SCH?
It's dumb, and I think I'm the only one who sees it tt way. Since the government has no (plans to do any) revisions to the system.
I gotta admit the Polys all have lots of lucrative $.$ courses to choose from. Attracting loads of ppl wif juz by showcasing attracting business opportunities to go overseas and attachment wif industry giants. But isn't it too early. Choosing a course is akin to choosing a job already. It's the point in life (if you go to poly) where your decision is vital & permanent.
It's juz like a lethal injection.
For now, I'm sticking to JC.
It's my opinion, so pls. Dun sue me for anything. I ain't critisizing here!
