Dear Diary,
This week's gonna be a real hectic one. I'm staying back in school for the whole week! Mon - Elementz Presentation. Tue - NE Board Game Trial Run. Wed - Red Cross. Thurs - Elementz Prize Presentation & Fri for the Macdonalds Talk Show at Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre.
Can't believe that today was the day of presentation. Cause of this proj, got to go out of school early. (Managed to skip classes :P) After recess, we headed to the staff room to finish our final touch-ups. Literally touch-ups; we did not even paste all the information on the "board" that was suppose to be brought forth during the presentation at Anderson sec. Rushed like mad, tried with all my brain power to memorise all the info tt I was suppose to say to the Judges. Wad made things worst was the Hypothesis we did was not relevant to the proj title -.- Changed it and it was 11am! Time to go; took 5 mins taxi ride...
Reached there and was greeted by the lovely ambience. Went to the hall, and set up our booth. Afterwards went down to their canteen to have lunch. Their canteen, honestly speaking is many times betters than ours. They had western food, and the service there is good. And I realised that the tables and chairs are always clean (So much for ours... ) Went to the waiting room after lunch and slacked there for wad seemed like eternity. It was 1pm and our presentation started at 5 =.= ( It doesn't get worst than this ) Stole one of Mdm Leau's sweet :x and sat on her place.Haha!
Finally,the time came. And we were off. Wish goodluck to the other team, and off we went. Very malu lor, I was like sitting down on one of the three chairs and putting my legs up then suddenly the judges came and I super pai seh. Told them about our proj and they asked many questions. Thankfully, we managed to answer all the questions, and they left. Heaved a sign of relief and started to think of those wierd things like getting only a COP (Certificate of Participation) To add salt to the wound, Calvin said we had a 80% chance of only getting a COP (Thanks man!) Eat tea time downstairs at the canteen. Mrs Goh was the one in charge of the F&B. So we could take wadever we wanted. I wanted Eclair and she gave it to me. BUT under 1 condition, we had to get gold for the proj -.- Which is simply asking for the moon.
So took bus back home (265 to AMK Hub then 853 to GoldHill Est and then 58 back home) And now recalling everything tt had happened today. Indeed I had overcame yet another obstacle!
