Dear Diary,

We had NE Board Game Trial Run today. I think our work looks like crap. Rushed like mad to cut all the trap tiles and draw and colour all the remaining rooms. We're doomed cause apparently SOMEONE did not do the summary & game rules properly and I ended up helping him edit almost everything.

Left school early again! Yay! Then went down for lunch and last minute preparation. Then Mrs Chong KT called me in a voice like it's a life or death matter. "Nicholas, where are you? We going to be late already. The principal very neow one. Faster come!" was wad she told us. And I said to her "Cher, we still got 40 mins to reach there? Why you rushing like mad" and she hung up -.- Took taxi there.

Reached down on time (Obviously!). On the cab,we went on to cut the remaining rooms and stuff all the rubbish into Xiu Quan's pencil box! Haha, now it's overflowing. Upon arrival at the hall, we realised we were the first few. Then we started to set up our board game and we met this guy whom we taught him how to play our "crap" board game. Now, where the program officially started, I was shifted to another group, so Xiu Quan was on his own to explain the game rules and game play. For me, I started to interact wif the ppl from other groups and they showed us many creative games tt I, wouldn't have thought of it b4 in my life. I remb some were the Luck Game (Where you're suppose to shake some triangular box and the number of steps will be determined) and the Student of the Year (Where the objective is to lose all your Detention Cards), another one was the one abt using diff terrain to play the game. Had lots of fun and at the end of the session got a lot of feedback from the players. They said tt our game was toooooooooo looooooooooooooong and tt we should simplify it as it is quite complex. And the game rules were too vague.

Got many advice from Matthew,Colin and Jo. And Mrs Chong said tt we needed to find a day where everyone is free to sit down and really test play the whole game, making sure tt it runs smoothly & flawlessly. She fetched us right back to our doorstep by Taxi again ^^

Not resting and pondering over today's feedback and trying hard to brainstorm ideas to further improve the game. Argh!
