Dear Diary,
TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY! WOOOO~~
Ok, and it is also a big event : Red Cross Internationl Bazaar 2009!
It's a fund-raising (not raisins, I know you're hungry, but still...) event to celebrate Red Cross' 60th Anniversary of dunno wad. It was located at the Royal Thai Embassy near ION Orchard (Ion leh, woo!)
My juniors were so sweet, singing me a birthday song on the way there. Awww ^^
Anyway, our school was suppose to set up a booth where ppl can come and 'buy' things. We prepared Popcorn Chicken, Nuggets & dunno wad ball la. I didn't think we were gonna back lots of money but still... but they suprised me when they told me their customors were overwhelming.
One of the Ma'ams asked 3 volunteers to help wif some Traffic Police stuff. Our task? We were asked to guard parking lots LOL. We were told tt only VIPs, & Stallholders were allowed to park. In other words, we acted as walking and talking Traffic Cones. It was tedious I tell you, till we changed shift and got the Sec 1s to try out. We went around to shop LOL ^^
The place was huge and we went around Wheelock Place, and Isetan. So cool. B4 tt, we were watching performances by various ppl & groups. I got a shock when Kian Hui ( our sec 1 cadet) went on stage and sang us Chinese Songs. He got applauses and we were all very proud of him.
And you know wad? Heather (purple FTW lol)was there too. Only thing was I couldn't find her
-.-
We left at around 5+ pm
And went I went home, there was yet another celebration. This time wif my family, and some of Darren's extra friends lol.
Marking Day tmr, wonder how my results are :S
